( https://cila.co/join/ )\n\nAbout Alejandra García (Presenter)\nAlejandra García is an Associate at Langford Law, practicing in the areas of immigration, employment, corporate and commercial law. Alejandra advises businesses, individuals and families and immigration matters and prepares applications for temporary business, employment, permanent residence and citizenship in Canada. Alejandra provides advice and representation to employers on a wide range of employment and labour matters, including employment agreements, executive compensation, workplace policies, employment standards, disability matters, human rights and the duty to accommodate, occupational health and safety, worker’s compensation and terminations. She also advises individuals on wrongful dismissal, severance and contractual matters. She has experience drafting corporate and commercial agreements and supporting mergers, acquisitions and business transactions. Originally from El Salvador, Alejandra is passionate about learning and utilizing her Spanish language skills to the benefit of others.\nAbout Vance Langford (Moderator)\nVance is the Managing Partner of Langford Law. He is also the Co-President of CILA and is a founding member of the association. He has been practicing immigration law for 25 years.
