    Course Instructor<\/strong><\/h2>\n

    Joycna Kang,<\/strong> Partner at Battista Migration Law Group, CILA Board Member. She practices in the full range of immigration and refugee applications. Joycna also regularly represents clients in judicial reviews, applications for a writ of mandamus, and motions for stays of removal before the Federal Court of Canada. Joycna holds a law degree from Queen\u2019s University\u2019s Faculty of Law, and a bachelor of arts degree, with honours, specializing in anthropology from the University of Guelph. Since graduating in 2020, she has been developing her practice in refugee and immigration law, with a special interest in gender-related cases. Since 2023, Joycna has been an adjunct faculty member at University of Toronto\u2019s Faculty of Law, co-instructing the Canadian Migration Law course and assisting as a mooting coach for the Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship mooting team.<\/p>\n
